What We Do
01.
— Listening Matters
We are trained to carefully Listen to what people love about the community - what they can build on. From their concerns come the motivations to act and engage. People's vision and passion moves into action - on the farm and in the villages.
The Listening process is specifically designed to build collective resilience. And it does.
02.
— We Build Networks
Networks of people organise active networks and teams: Caring, Feeding, Educating, Farming, Building. There is a great hunger
for knowledge and expertise - so personal contact leads to local action and links nationally and internationally. Many solutions to world problems are here in Africa. Networks are critical.
03.
— We Strengthen
When our people listen to each other and trust, respect and relationships grow. People apply their expertise, their passion and their vigour. They do that together and that means a renewed strength. Our bonds with colleagues in Government, with business and our new international relationships give us strength.
04.
— We Educate
We work to ensure that children are fed before their lessons. We teach farmers to work collectively and effectively. We reach out to international partners to help them to understand our problems, specifically our need for educational resource and support. We plan to set up a school for sustainability, resilience and food security to tackle man and woman made climate damage.
05.
— We Provide Care
Our communities have so many vulnerable people: orphans from epidemics, malnourished children and adults, disillusioned and disengaged young people. Caring in the context of our organised networks is exciting because we give so many people a lifeline - and hope
06.
— We Consult and plan
We first consult with the people at the grassroots, in the villages; and with the Chiefs and Headmen, the elected members for Council, the Members of Parliament and even the President. We are speaking to educational trust funds and international universities. We are creating a local action for transformation that will be a pilot. As we build appropriate partnerships of people and organisations who are committed to empowering transformation, we can solve so many issues - and provide a beacon of hope for others.
We are reaching out from Southern Zambia in Africa to potential partners.
Come and see the devastation caused by climate change - and work with us to show there are solutions.

We've got the land, the resilience, the courage, the determination and the political backing. Please join us to support, educate and create a PILOT PROJECT on our lands that will show how communities like ours can be resilient and sustainable.
Here in Zambia we face many of the issues covered in this United Nations video - and some! Let's work together to develop a collective response.
Brian's story: Sustainable farming in Africa - gives a sense of what we want to develop in Southern Zambia to face the threats we face.
